AssoYacht has promoted and signed the two National Collective Labor Agreements specifically for private and commercial yachting. Two instruments that introduce clarity, protections, and modern rules for employment relationships on board.

Both represent the operational response to a gap in the entire sector, arising from direct listening to owners’ needs and preliminary consultation with a selected committee composed of the main representatives of the industry. These are essentially two instruments designed to bring order and stability to the relationship between the Owner and their crew, enhancing professionalism on board while simultaneously protecting the operational needs of those managing a pleasure craft.

All this without adding burden, but rather simplifying hiring procedures as much as possible. From unified pay to privacy protection, from simplified contract management to the enhancement of professional skills, the AssoYacht NCLAs represent a cultural and regulatory turning point for the entire sector.

A regulatory and contractual framework not only inspired by Italian law but also central to the international landscape in accordance with the provisions of the MLC 2006.
